How TimePeel works
TimePeel works by drawing the surface of the skin using a controlled vacuum into the applicator where fine medical grade crystals on the peeling tip gently remove dead and damaged skin cells from the surface.
This procedure acts to remove the outer layer of skin in a highly controlled manner.
When repeated multiple times, the younger softer skin moves to the surface, promoting discernable changes in texture, color and appearance.
These crystals literally "erase" the imperfections and sun damage, without damaging the skin's integrity. The result: a smoother, more youthful appearance.
You may feel a sanding sensation similar to a cat "licking you" when the crystals make contact with your skin. However, TimePeel is completely safe, offers minimal discomfort and can be performed within the comfort of your own home.

The necessity to peel skin
Time inevitably takes its toll on your skin. Exposure to the elements causes it to become damaged and dull.
The natural process of cell renewal (exfoliation) slows as we age and is affected by our natural environment.
Other factors, such as age, genetics, hormone balance, lack of minerals, and inadequate diet, all influence epidermal
cellular turnover and the production of new, healthy cells. Removal of the superficial dead cells thickens the
epidermis and increases the production of new skin cells along with the production of collagen.
Microdermabrasion over other techniques
The microdermabrasion process involves far less pain and recovery time than laser or chemical peels, with no anesthesia or
irritation. The technique diminishes wrinkles and acne scars and refines skin by exfoliating and removing blackheads.
Traditional dermabrasion has been around for some time, and is painful, risky and requires a long healing time. Laser skin
resurfacing has fared somewhat better, but is still uncomfortable, very expensive, and often requires weeks of "downtime."
